Hikes are usually scheduled Tuesday evenings and on Saturday & Sunday.  Additional hikes are held during the day on either Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday.

Tuesday OCT 27 - Ghosts & Goblins
MeetIn parking lot between Kopps and Mama Mia's on Bluemound in Brookfield.

NoteBring flashlights & reflective gear; costumes optional.  Party after hike at Lynn's - bring
              a snack to share and slippers to wear.

Thursday OCT 29 - Downtown or Bust
MeetParking lot east of Kohl’s in the Bay Shore Shopping Center, Glendale. Turn north from
              Silver Spring onto Lydell (at the east side of the shopping center).  Park at the far east
              end of the Kohl’s lot.

NoteWe will hike primarily on the bike trail to the art center.  Optional lunch in the USBank
              center (Lakeside Grill – a cafeteria).  Return will be via Transit bus.  Shorter option
              (leave or join hike at North Ave and Oakland) available.  Contact leader. 

Friday OCT 30 - Halloween Rambler
MeetKopp's custard, NE corner of parking lot Brookfield Rd at Bluemound Rd.

Saturday OCT 31 - IAT - ZZ To Headquarters
MeetKettle Moraine Forest Headquarters on Hwy 59, west of Eagle, east of Palmyra.

NoteState Park Vehicle Sticker Required.  We will shuttle to Scuppernong parking lot
              on ZZ about one mile east of junction with Hwy 67.  Bring lunch if desired.

Sunday NOV 1 - Nagwaukee Hike
MeetSentry Store lot, Hwy 83 and I 94, Delafield. Head west on I-94 and exit at
              Hwy 83 (exit 287).  Turn right (north) on 83.  Take the first right onto Golf Rd. to
              Sentry store and park at the east end of the lot.

NoteWe'll hike trails in Nagawaukee.  There will be a few short steep hills.

MeetSoutheast corner of Wauwatosa Public Library located between North Avenue and
              76th Street.

Thursday NOV 5 - No Name Hike  
MeetTarget Store on the west side of Hwy 100 about one block north of Burleigh St. 
               Meet in the southeast corner of the lot.

MeetGreenfield Park pool area. Enter from 124th between Lincoln and Greenfield.

MeetMauthe Lake parking lot.  Take Hwy 45 north to Hwy 28 (Kewaskum); on Hwy 28,
               go right (east) to CTH S; take S north (left) to CTH GGG; go north (left) on GGG to
               Mauthe Rec Area.

Tuesday NOV 10 - Harvest Festival

NoteMany cultures celebrated the bounty of the autumn harvest with days of thanksgiving and
              family.  We’ll start with a quick history of some of the world cultures that celebrate
              harvest festivals — including our own national day of Thanksgiving.  Then it’s off on a
              walk through Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhoods and along Lake Michigan. We’ll be
              between full moons (Full Beaver and Full Cold) so be sure to bring your flashlights!
              Bring a thanksgiving to share at two or three stops along the way!

Wednesday NOV 11 - Veterans’ Day Walk     
Meet99th and Eden, near Alcott School. Heading west on Beloit Road, turn left onto Morgan
               at stop light.  Immediately turn right (south) onto 99th Street to Eden.  From Howard go
               north on 99th street to Eden.  Park along street.
Time10 a.m.

Thursday NOV 12 - Exploring Forest Home

MeetRice Lake parking lot. Take Hwy. 12 east from La Grange to Cty. Hwy.O, Take O
              south to Kettle Moraine Drive, west to State Park Rd. left, then next right to parking
              area. Drive to restrooms.  We will shuttle to Bald Bluff.

Sunday NOV 15  - Polk Kames Ice Age Trail  to Pike Lake S.P.
MeetParking Lot on Powder Hill road in the Pike Lake unit. Head north on Hwy 41 to
              Hwy 60, then west past Slinger and South on Powder Hill road (1st road after
              Hwy CC).  Parking lot on left has toilet.

NoteState park stickers required on vehicles. We will shuttle a few cars to start of hike. 
              Bring water!   Optional lunch after hike in Hartford at the Perc Place.

Tuesday NOV 17  - Shorewood Hike
MeetCorner of East Lake Bluff Blvd. and North Lake Drive.  The location is a few blocks
               north of Capitol Drive.

Thursday NOV 19 - New Interurban Trail Bike Bridge
MeetMeadowbrook Park, Grafton. Take Hwy I43 North, exit Hwy 60 West to Grafton.
               Turn North (right) on 12th St.  Drive about ½ mile to Meadowbrook Park on the left.

MeetMary Krueger Park. Take Columbia Blvd. (between Elm Grove Rd. and 124th) south
               from Bluemound Rd. about 4 blocks.  Krueger Park will be on your left.  Park in far
               corner.

NoteBetty will cook a turkey, you all do the rest!  Bring a dish to pass, your beverage and a
              pair of slippers to wear in the house. Wear sturdy shoes as we will hike through Potters
              Forest to Whitnall Park if the weather is good, otherwise we will be on city streets. 

Friday NOV 27 - Al’s Brookfield Hike
