Carie started her WGHC hike leading career with a bang - 3 days in a row of challenging hikes at Governor Dodge State Park!  Several of us were able to make it out to this scenic area of the state, some for the whole weekend (camping or in a hotel) while others came out for only a day.

In addition to plenty of hills, we had scenic views of the two lakes, a natural spring and a waterfall.

Those of us who were out for the weekend also had time to relax in the campsites (or the whirlpool at the hotel!) and to explore the interesting nearby sites and towns - Dodgeville, Spring Green, and Mineral Point.

Hikers included Carie Shulla, Judith, Jon Russell, Debbie Kotlarek, Gary & Donna Hoffman, John & Judy Elmergreen, Gary Braun, Barb Johnson & Barb Gill.
