There were a lot fewer hikers the next day for a 6-mile trudge on the dikes in the Mississippi River. There was constant rain and fierce winds, and no cameras were risked to record the adventure. The 9 hardy (or foolhardy?) members who did brave the elements managed to spot some birds and Dave Lovejoy saw a fox.
